A better way to fit.
LP Golf utilises Foreward Golf’s fitting system, TPT’s shaft-fitting methodology and captures all club and ball data by the industry leading Foresight QuadMAX.
Together, these technologies allow us to investigate more than Distance and Smash Factor.
We examine how changes in head design, shaft profile, weight, balance and build specs influence the way you deliver the golf club.
The result is more than a set of clubs.
It’s a clear understanding of what performs, why it performs and how to build the perfect set of clubs for your swing.
-
Foreward Golf has developed a blind, variable isolated and a brand agnostic process.
By testing each variable below in isolation, we are able to determine what each player needs in order to be prescribed the perfect fit.
Bounce / Lie Angle / Total Weight / Kickpoint / Flex / Length / Grip / Swing Weight
LP Golf is proudly the first studio in Australia offering this game changing system -
TPT stands apart through a level of manufacturing consistency rarely seen in the golf-shaft industry. Its automated Continuous Fiber process winds ultra-thin carbon material from tip to butt, maintaining precise fibre alignment while eliminating the seams, overlaps and spine created by conventional hand-rolled construction.
That consistency makes TPT an exceptionally reliable fitting tool. Once we identify the weight, flex and bend profile that best supports your delivery, strike and ball flight, it provides a trusted baseline from which we can evaluate comparable shafts across the wider market.
Bend-profile and EI data help us identify suitable alternatives, but numbers on a chart never replace testing. Every recommendation is ultimately validated in your hands, allowing us to find the right performance profile across TPT or any other manufacturer—without relying on traditional flex labels or swing-speed assumptions.
-
The gold standard in professional club fitting.
Foresight’s QuadMAX uses four high-speed cameras to directly measure the golf ball and club through impact. It captures precise data including strike location, face angle, club path, delivered loft and lie, launch and spin—allowing us to see exactly how each equipment change affects your delivery and ball flight. No guesswork. Just reliable data behind every recommendation.
OUR PROCESS
A complete fitting experience - a collaborative process designed to ensure your equipment performs beyond the hitting bay.
-
We begin by measuring the clubs you currently play. Length, loft, lie angle, shaft frequency, swing weight, total weight and other relevant specifications are recorded to create an accurate blueprint of your set.
This allows us to compare what you believe you are playing with what is actually in the bag and gives all future recommendations a reliable starting point.
-
In the hitting bay, Foresight QuadMAX captures detailed club and ball data while we observe your delivery, strike pattern, ball flight and consistency.
Your feedback is equally important.
The data tells us what is happening; your feedback helps us understand why it matters. We consider how your swing feels, where you lack confidence and what you need your equipment to help you achieve. -
Using the Foreward’s process, we change and test fitting variables independently.
Blind testing also helps remove preconceptions created by brand names, flex labels, price and appearance. This process allows us to isolate and test one variable at a time. Including playing length, grip size, sole design/bounce, lie angle, total weight, swing weight, shaft flex and bend profile.
-
The results are compiled into a clear, detailed equipment prescription that outlines the specifications best suited to support your swing, strike pattern and intended ball flight.
This is not a sales decision - it is an evidence-based description of what build specs are going to work best for you, providing guidance for future equipment decisions.

PROVE THE PRESCRIPTION
Before asking you to commit to a complete set, we build a finished 7-iron to your exact prescription - including the prescribed head and sole design, shaft, playing length, lie angle, total weight, swing weight and grip.
This is where we prove that the specifications identified during the fitting translate into a club that performs in the real world. We test it in the simulator and, wherever possible, from turf at your practice range or on the course - assessing strike, ball flight, carry, dispersion, turf interaction, feel and confidence.
Only once the 7-iron has been validated do we discuss building the complete set. If anything needs refining, we make those changes first - before they are repeated across every club in your bag.
-
Once the prescription has been confirmed, we determine the most sensible way to produce it. That may involve:
Rebuilding and optimising your existing clubs when the heads and sole designs remain suitable
Creating a new custom build from selected components
Ordering Foreward clubs configured to your requirements
Sourcing an appropriate second-hand set and rebuilding it to specification
-
Your clubs are built in-house to the tightest possible tolerances by the same hands that conducted your fitting. With no handover between fitter and builder, nothing is lost in communication between the prescription and the finished set.
Once assembled, every club is measured again and tested to verify its playing length, loft, lie angle, shaft frequency, total weight and swing weight—ensuring the equipment delivered to you matches the exact specifications you were fitted for.
-
Once the clubs are complete, we’ll work with you to confirm their performance and make any necessary adjustments either in the studio, at the range or on your course.
The relationship does not end at delivery.
After you’ve played a few rounds with your new clubs, schedule a check-in so we can discuss how the set is performing, investigate any concerns and make any final refinements.
